Jenn Howells has been dancing for over 10 years studying ballet, jazz, tap, and modern under the direction of Gail Vartanian. Jenn primarily studied dance at ContempraDance Center but also credits other teachers and schools with her dance training. She is ContempraDance Center’s office manager and has been for 8 years where she managed the school, the yearly recital, taught dance to children and adults, made dance costumes for the professional dance company ContempraDance Theatre and the studio’s recital costumes, and assisted with planning and producing ContempraDance Theatre’s annual productions. Beyond dance, Jenn was a highly requested professional teacher for a corporate training center. There, she had the opportunity to teach employees and management at distinguished corporations including Wyeth Ayerst Pharmaceuticals, Wawa Corporate Center, Radian Guaranty, AstraZeneca, Independence Blue Cross, and Comcast among others. Jenn has an Associate’s degree in Business (2000) and a Bachelors Degree in Sociology (2007). She graduated from Albright College, summa cum laude and is a lifetime member of the Albright College Honors Society and Alpha Kappa Delta, the international sociology honors society. She plans to attend graduate school in the fall of 2011 and work at Contempra for a long time!
