Belly/Salsa Dance
The Belly/Salsa class was influenced by Latin artists like
Shakira who fused middle-eastern influences into their music.
It is a fun, dynamic class and an excellent workout. Belly/Salsa
will combine Latin footwork including salsa, cha-cha, cumbia,
meringue, and Latin jazz while utilizing hip, shoulder, neck,
and rib isolations-movements used in Belly dance. The class
starts with a warm up including some basic Latin steps, body
isolations, stretching and abdominal work. Students will learn
a dance at the end of each class to music. It’s a great
workout for teens and adults who want to get in shape while
having fun.
