The ContempraYouth Dancers are looking for talented young dancers ages 7-18 to dance for the 2010-11 performance season!

The ContempraYouth Dancers perform in the fall & spring Youth Regional Dance Festival in Philadelphia and with ContempraDance Theatre in the popular holiday spoof “Philly-Nutt-Crak-Up.”
In 2011 they will be performing at Disney World in Florida! They are also involved in community events and often perform at spring fairs, first Fridays & more. Don’t miss out on being a part of this spectacular performance season!

Contempra Youth Dancers, a pre-professional dance company, formed in 2003. Our mission is to provide young dancers the opportunity to experience performing with a professional dance company and at community events. Our dancers perform in professional venues throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. Their experience also extends beyond performance opportunities: ContempraYouth Dancers members learn dedication, perseverance, motivation and self expression. Dancers must attend weekly rehearsals at ContempraDance Center as well as required classes during the week. Performance opportunities include, but are not limited to, ContempraDance Theatre’s Philly Nutt Crak-Up, The Youth Regional Dance Festivals, Disney World 2011 and other community events.
